Our cabinet refinishing process
Adhesion is everything on cabinetry. Kitchen surfaces carry cooking residue that will undermine a coating if it is not removed first.
- Cleaning and thorough degreasing of all surfaces
- Sanding and scuffing to create a mechanical bond
- Removal of doors, drawer fronts, and hardware where applicable
- Masking and containment of the surrounding kitchen
- Bonding primer appropriate to the existing finish
- Professional coating application to doors, fronts, and boxes
- Cure time before hardware and doors are reinstalled
- Final inspection of edges, profiles, and reveal lines
